  • Google is still King, but there’s a lot of room for growth from other search channels.
  • YouTube is the most under-indexed Big 5 channel for active affiliates running traffic at 44, followed by TikTok at 51.
  • There is an evident underutilization of diverse channels, hinting at growth potential that remains untapped by most Brands.
  • The strength of email in driving conversions signals a need for increased emphasis and integration into multi-channel strategies.

A Preview of What's Inside

Google is over-indexed at 172, followed by Facebook at 146, while TikTok and YouTube are under-indexed at 51 and 44, respectively.

 

Conversion rates saw much slighter growth, rising from 1.85% in 2023 to 2.15% in 2024. More impressive is the lack of conversion rate volatility in 2024, as the performance was very consistent week-to-week.

 

Google leads the pack in sales, taking up 46.8% of the pie. Social and Search are neck and neck as sales-driving channels, accounting for 97% of all sales in Q1.
