Position Summary

This role is pivotal in reinventing how our community and creators interact with our brand, rooted in cultural insights and trends. Our community, defined by a shared passion for e.l.f., is at the heart of our mission.
 
As a leader in this space, you will be instrumental in transforming our customers and creators into brand advocates, propelling business growth, and enhancing customer loyalty and satisfaction on a global scale.

Responsibilities:
 
– Strategic Development: Craft and execute a comprehensive strategy that ensures our community engagement keeps pace with cultural trends. This includes building robust systems and infrastructure that enable agility and rapid response to community dynamics.
– Team Leadership: Cultivate and manage a high-performing community team alongside a cross-functional (XFN) taskforce to achieve our ambitious goals.
– Global Scaling: Explore and implement scalable solutions (considering agencies, AI, etc.) to significantly improve our global response rate to community interactions.
– Engagement Command Center: Establish a community engagement command center that empowers us to respond swiftly and effectively to community insights and needs.
– Advocacy and Creator Strategy: Develop a strategic plan to bring our customers closer to the brand in new markets and verticals, with a particular focus on EMEA, thereby strengthening our advocacy and creator networks.
– Storytelling: Identify and highlight community stories that exemplify the e.l.f. spirit and ethos, fostering a deeper emotional connection with our brand.
– Insights Integration: Create a comprehensive community insights funnel and establish regular touchpoints for cross-functional integration, ensuring that community feedback directly informs product development, communications, and marketing strategies.
– Community Commerce: Design a framework to uncover and exploit revenue opportunities within the community, aligning commercial goals with community engagement.
– Brand Love Moments: Transform customer complaints into unforgettable moments of surprise and delight, turning detractors into brand advocates.
– Insights: Leverage community insights to drive actionable strategies that result in tangible commercial outcomes.
 
Requirements:
 
– Proven experience in community management and consumer affairs, or a related field, preferably in a global capacity.
– Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and nurturing high-performing teams.
– Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a flair for creativity and innovation.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
– Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
– Experience with data analysis and using insights to drive decision-making.
– Passion for the beauty industry and a deep understanding of cultural trends and consumer behavior.
