About The Role

Howl is seeking a Community Marketing Manager to play a key role in the development of the Howl creator community. In this position, you will play a crucial role using every touchpoint with a Creator as an opportunity to gain insight, improve the customer experience and grow loyalty and evangelism for Howl. You believe that best-in-class customer service leads to better business results. You are a strong communicator, a natural community builder and an instinctual and resourceful problem solver. You will work closely with cross functional partners to inform the development of a world-class platform that enables creators to generate earnings on product recommendations, engage and understand their audiences, and build stronger relationships with the brands they work with.

You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will:
Own scaled communications to members of the Howl creator community through channels such as email and Discord.
Provide best-in-class customer service to drive business results.
Evaluate, nurture and onboard creators at scale to ramp their growth.
Use data to inform and drive community growth, education and virality initiatives.
Solicit, organize and contextualize Creator feedback to improve the overall customer experience.

We’re Excited About You Because You Have:
3+ years experience as a community manager, with a proven track record of successfully managing large communities with passionate users.
Experience working directly with creators (e.g. creator monetization), social commerce, and/or consumer-facing payment platforms
General marketing and/or growth marketing experience.
A passion for the creator economy + strong understanding of popular and emerging social media channels such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, Twitter and YouTube.
Experience using quantitative and qualitative data to build and drive strategy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Strong organizational and project management skills.

The base salary range for this role is $120,000 – $140,000/yr USD.

At Howl, we offer a competitive compensation package inclusive of base salary, incentive pay and stock options. Incentive awards are allocated based on individual performance. Certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
