The Director, Affiliate Marketing plays a crucial role in driving online revenue through affiliate partnerships. This role is responsible for leading and managing the affiliate marketing team and partner agency as well as developing and executing affiliate marketing strategies and programs to drive revenue and business growth. This role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing, strong leadership skills, and the ability to foster relationships with affiliate partners.
Job Responsibilities:

Oversee and develop affiliate marketing strategies aligned with the overall marketing and business objectives and goals across portfolio of brands
Lead and manage the affiliate marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations
·Partner with agency to develop and execute best in class strategic and tactical affiliate plans (short and long term)
Develop and manage the affiliate marketing budget, including forecasting, cost control and acquisition targets
Ensure that all affiliate activities are compliant with relevant laws and regulations, including FTC guidelines and GDPR.
Lead affiliate campaign performance improvements through data analysis and strategic adjustments
Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to develop holistic performance marketing strategies and plans (promotions, creative assets, etc)
Remain up to date with industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to remain competitive in the affiliate marketing space.


Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus
Proven experience in affiliate marketing in a leadership role
Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships
Knowledge of affiliate tracking platforms, including affiliate software and analytical tools
Understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, email marketing and social media
Knowledge of legal and compliance issues pertaining to affiliate marketing
Results-oriented with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding affiliate marketing goals
Strong negotiation and contract management skills

“The expected salary for this position is $130,000 – $150,000 before any additional bonus percentage, benefits package, PTO, etc. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.”
