Are you interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources? Do you have excellent communication and administrative skills? Skimlinks is excited to be expanding its HR team with this brand-new position. Reporting to the UK Senior HR Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting the HR function with daily administrative duties which are integral to the smooth delivery of support to employees. This is a widely varied role that requires high levels of attention to detail, organisation, integrity, and confidentiality.

Our ideal HR Coordinator is interested in learning and developing skills across the fundamentals of Human Resources, in a fast paced, international, and modern technology company, for a long-term career as an HR professional. Administrative experience in a support role is preferable for this role, but not essential. Most importantly, we are seeking someone that’s driven and determined to learn, and will contribute to our fantastic company culture, while delivering best-in-class support.

Job duties:

Benefits admin

Employee change requests
Liaising with brokers, amendments, enrolments, joiners/leavers
Updating internal docs and policies for employee use
Employee L&D programme maintenance; joiners/leavers/cohorts
Childcare contracts
Communicating employee recognition programme to joiners / leavers
Tracking parental leave with employees
General admin

Managing daily requests from employees
Logging sickness, updating holidays, tenure, and other HRIS record keeping.
Preparing HR reports on a quarterly basis
Diary management
Presentation administration
All ad-hoc admin support required by the HR function
Onboarding admin

Logging tickets with IT
Coordination of the onboarding process
Collating photos & facts for new joiner welcome emails
Preparation and sending of welcome emails
Keeping the company’s new joiner presentations up to date
Requirements
Previous experience of HR or office admin / PA and now looking for something more HR specific.
This is a full-time administrative position, but will require a hands-on approach to help build on the infrastructure in place and strengthen then administrative tasks of the department.
Although full support and training will be given, strong initiative and someone who can handle working in a fast-paced environment is a must.
Personable, with strong communication and organisation skills
Strong attention to detail is a must
Confident in prioritising and driving tasks
Can act as a bridge between UK HR team and the office admin team, IT, etc.
Confidential, trustworthy, high levels of integrity
Values an office working environment
Confident with working on Excel and reading reports
Powerpoint and creating presentation decks
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
