The Opportunity:
We are looking for a performance-loving Creative Strategist to join our team, sitting within the Performance Marketing pod on our Growth team and serving as the creative lead for our advertising efforts. This individual will collaborate closely with our internal teams, video editors, and graphic designers to bring creative ideas to life. We’re looking to bring in someone excited to learn the ins and outs of a multi-million dollar paid social operation. You will learn, run countless experiments, and develop a creative playbook to help scale our Meta, TikTok and other paid advertising channels. This role will also engage with external partners such as UGC and content creators, to create the assets that fuel our most prominent and highest spending ad platforms, like Meta and TikTok You will report into the Paid Acquisition Lead who will help to guide you on how we think about paid ads, and the role it plays in scaling our business.

Who You Are:
The ideal candidate has experience in Meta Ads Manager, and will use their past experience to develop innovative marketing concepts that drive incremental and scalable performance on key digital ad platforms. This individual is an imaginative thinker, with a desire to integrate creativity and strategy together while balancing innovation and business performance. They have experience in translating creative concepts into actionable strategies and briefs. A successful candidate will be on a mission to understand all things about consumer behavior and emerging trends, analyze that data and leverage it to bring a valuable perspective to the table. Beyond technical prowess, an ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, effortlessly articulating complex ideas proactively and consistently. Furthermore, they excel as a collaborative team player, thriving in cross-functional, yet remote environments, where their skills contribute to collective success.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the creative leader at the crossroads of performance marketing and creative strategy
Lead the conception process to devise innovative campaign concepts and strategies. Transform ideas into detailed creative briefs for our video editors and graphic design team to articulate creative visions effectively for ad execution
Provide constructive feedback on video assets and demonstrate the ability to offer thoughtful edits to enhance creative quality
Develop and own a comprehensive testing roadmap for new creative concepts, ensuring a continuous cycle of innovation
Collaborate with the performance and creative team to test, iterate, optimize, and scale winning campaign creatives and messaging
Provide clear direction for copy, wireframing landing pages, working with creator/UGC talent, and managing video editors
Monitor and analyze ad platform data, product sales data, market insights, overall performance of creative content, and the competitor landscape to derive insights and guide the development of new briefs and angles for each product
Keep abreast of industry trends, social media platform updates, and best practices and identify core opportunities for future performance marketing campaigns
Provide detailed reports on creative performance to the wider team with discovered insights and suggestions for any optimizations or opportunities
Play a quarterback role in project managing and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Work closely with brand, design, and media planning teams to ensure timely and seamless campaign execution.
Own the end-to-end UGC content creator process for paid social. Spearhead the sourcing and seamless onboarding of talented User-Generated Content (UGC) creators. Establish and manage relationships with a diverse pool of creators to enhance our UGC content library.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

2+ years of experience working in a creative strategy or performance marketing role
Experience working with creative ads and briefing
Knowledge of the creative production process, as relates to advertising
Enthusiasm for social and digital channels
Hunger to continue to learn new skills
Applicants should have a drive to understand ‘What makes a winning ad?’
Strong copywriter and can write effective, consumer-centric copy
Strong analytical skills, with familiarity of performance metrics and performance funnels across platforms
Strong idea generation and creative problem-solving skills
Proven experience in project management
